Start with an Observable Action Verb
A good task answers "what concrete physical action will I perform?". Use clear verbs: call, draft, review, buy. Phrases like "think about project" hide unmade decisions.
If a task causes resistance, it is often too large or vague. Reduce it to the first immediate physical step.
Define the Expected Done Criteria
Every task needs a clear endpoint. "Prepare presentation" could mean an outline or final slides. Defining the outcome prevents rework.
For shared tasks, specify to whom and what should be delivered so items do not get lost in limbo.
Add Only Essential Context
Save links, contacts, or brief notes so you do not waste time searching, but keep the title concise.
In AetherPlan, keep the title short and use the description field for detailed context.
